Grand Theft Auto San Andreas 2 With Old Man CJ Imagined in New … – GameRant

A new Unreal Engine 5 concept video imagines what a Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas 2 might be like with Old Man CJ.
YouTube channel TeaserPlay has created yet another Unreal Engine 5 concept video, this time imagining a hypothetical sequel to the beloved Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas originally released in 2004 to widespread critical acclaim and is generally considered one of the best video games ever made. Rockstar's mega hit has since been re-released on numerous platforms, mostly recently brought to modern consoles as part of the controversial Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
Rockstar Games rarely creates sequels that follow-up on the stories in its games, with most Grand Theft Auto titles being standalone affairs with a couple of cameos to establish that they exist in the same universe. Despite the game's immense popularity, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is no exception. Fan favorite character CJ hasn't been seen since San Andreas, and while it's unlikely that Rockstar will ever create a direct sequel to the game, the new TeaserPlay video offers a concept of what it could be like.

The TeaserPlay video is set in 2022, whereas the original Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was set in the 90s. However, it starts out similar to the original game, with CJ returning to San Andreas and Grove Street, where he grew up. This time around, though, CJ is 55 years old and looks his age, though he's still wearing the exact same wife beater and jeans that he wore in the original San Andreas, for whatever reason.
Clips from the original San Andreas are interwoven with a scene of CJ taking a taxi to Grove Street. CJ reminisces about the events of San Andreas with a somber expression. Upon arriving at Grove Street, CJ finds that his childhood home has been neglected, with graffiti covering the exterior. No one else is seen in the video, but there are some vehicles outside the other Grove Street residences, indicating that the neighborhood hasn't been completely abandoned.
This isn't the first time that TeaserPlay has made a video dedicated to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Using Unreal Engine 5, the YouTube channel has created multiple tributes to the classic game, like one that recreated Big Smoke's fast food order scene. It's possible that TeaserPlay will make even more San Andreas Unreal Engine 5 concept videos moving forward, but fans will just have to wait and see.
In the meantime, GTA fans can check out some of TeaserPlay's other videos, like its GTA 6 Unreal Engine 5 concept video.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X with Android and iOS versions in development.
