TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection Release Date Revealed –

By Alex Santa Maria
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is a retro compilation of 13 Konami classics brought to modern hardware by developer Digital Eclipse. First announced back in March, the Cowabunga Collection is ready to reboot on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on August 30 for $39.99.
IGN’s report revealing the release date puts the bundle of old games just after Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, a well-received brawler in the style of many of these classics from publisher Dotemu and developer Tribute Games. This package will make it much easier for Shredder’s Revenge fans to see where Dotemu and Tribute pulled from.

The complete list of included games ranges from the two arcade brawlers to their home versions, portable excursions, and one Street Fighter-esque spin-off. There’s plenty to discover for players old and new and include the following:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Turtles in Time, The Hyperstone Heist, and Tournament Fighters will feature added online play, and the entire collection will support local couch-co-op, button remapping, save states, and rewinding so players can more easily get through these retro titles.
